Joana Dionisio (1993) is a Portuguese photographer. She studied Audiovisual Communication Technologies (ESMAD) and holds a Master’s in Artistic and Documentary Photography (IPCI). Her work revolves around the themes of time, memory and mortality, delving into the ways in which humans grapple with the fragility of life and their mortal condition. She has participated in a range of solo and group exhibitions. She was selected for FRESH EYES 2022, a publication showcasing emerging European Photography Talent by GUP Magazine and nominated as a new talent for FUTURES in 2023 by Bienal Fotografia do Porto.
