Quyllur α

Filmed in the province of Huarochirí, Lima, amidst supernatural landscapes steeped in legends of cosmic origins and battles between pre-Hispanic gods, this project embarks on a metaphorical journey from death to life. Reinterpreting pre-Hispanic symbolism, it creates an imagined pilgrimage into these mysteries, using technologies such as LiDAR, photogrammetry, and 3D scanning of spaces and figures. By embracing the “errors” generated by digital processes, the work captures an imprecise geometry of landscapes and forms—bringing it closer to human imperfection and allowing the viewer a more immersive experience of the cycles of life, death, and the spaces in between.
