Ânia Pais (1998) is a Portuguese visual artist based between the village of Atalaia (Covilhã) and Lisbon. She has a degree and a Master's in Painting from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon. Since 2017, she has participated in solo and collective exhibitions in Portugal, Greece, France and the United States. In 2023, she was awarded the RAMA Residências Artísticas grant, as part of the Prémio Arte Jovem 8ª Edição - Millenium BCP Foundation and CarpeDiem Arte e Pesquisa. In 2024, she was selected for Project Rooms - Bienal Fotografia do Porto and received a grant from the Gulbenkian Foundation. Her work is part of the collection of António Cachola.
