Project Rooms
Project Rooms is a Bienal Fotografia do Porto project that aims to promote networking and support emerging artists in the production of a portfolio, culminating in its presentation to art professionals and the general public.
The artists, selected by partner art schools, have the opportunity to discuss processes and methodologies in the production and presentation of their portfolio with professionals in the field of visual arts — Vera Carmo, independent curator, and the artistic directors of the Bienal Fotografia do Porto, Jayne Dyer and Virgílio Ferreira.
Teachers involved: Susana Lourenço Marques and José Carneiro — Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Porto (FBAUP); João Leal — School of Media Arts and Design, Polytechnic Institute of Porto (ESMAD); Pedro Leão Neto — Faculty of Architecture, University of Porto (FAUP); Rogério Taveira — Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Lisbon (FBAUL); Rui Lourosa and Eduarda Neves — Porto School of Arts (ESAP); Susana Gaudêncio — School of Architecture, Art and Design, University of Minho (EAAD); Duarte Amaral Netto — Polytechnic Institute of Tomar (IPT).
