Elisa Vieira is a Portuguese artist. She holds a degree in Visual Arts - Photography from the Escola Superior Artística do Porto (ESAP) and is currently enrolled in an Masters in Fine Arts at the Faculty of Fine Arts - University of Porto. Exploring different media and multidisciplinary approaches, her work focuses on human nature, proposing a critical reflection on a culture based on religious beliefs. Since 2022, she has been collaborating with the project 'Arquivo e Mediação: do Douro de Teófilo Rego à Prática Artística Contemporânea' (ESAP and CEAA). In 2023, she was awarded the Prize Aquisição/MDS Distinção Árvore das Virtudes (ex aequo). In 2024, was invited by ESAP to be part of the Project Rooms - Bienal Fotografia do Porto.
