Wilian Ferreira is a photographer, audiovisual director and researcher. He holds a degree in Philosophy from the Instituto de Cultura e Arte da Universidade Federal do Ceará and is currently enrolled in the Masters in Image Design at the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Porto. He was director of photography for the films ‘Quando o Mar’ and ‘Santiago do Chile’ and was nominated for the Cine Ceará Best Short Film Award for ‘Onde Cidade é Comida, Saudade é Fome’. He collaborated on the photo book ‘Substrato’, in 2023, selected by the Moreira Salles Institute's ZUM magazine. In 2024, he participated in the Project Rooms - Bienal Fotografia do Porto.
