Alan Bulley is a photographer and writer living in Gatineau, Quebec. A former executive in the Canadian public service, his work focuses on the ways that we relate to one another as citizens, whether in the environments we inhabit or, increasingly, in our public institutions. He has pursued an arts education at the University for the Creative Arts in the UK, the School of the Photographic Arts: Ottawa, and is currently working on an MA in Documentary Photography at the University of South Wales. Alan also holds a Master’s in Public Administration from the Queen’s School of Policy Studies and is a contributing writer for a Canadian photography magazine.
