Catarina Braga

Catarina Braga (1994) is a Portuguese visual artist, researcher and speculative writer. In her artistic practice, she investigates how technological mediation shapes our relationship with nature, addressing planting processes and image making processes, exploring the role that images play in the interactions we establish between the cultural and the natural world. Her work is characterized by the multiplicity and the crossing of several media such as installation, video, photography, text, publication, ceramics; oftentimes exploring how the objects of the work transit between the digital online space and the physical space.
