Jan Durina is a Slovak interdisciplinary artist. Through performance, photography, and sound Durina examines and reflects on the themes of mental health, spirituality, emotion, queerness, and the vulnerable condition of existence. In addition to fine art, music, and curatorial projects, Durina collaborates on the performance project ROMEO & HELLION with Slovak artist Miriama Kardošová. Durina’s artworks are represented in permanent collections of Slovak National Gallery (Bratislava, Slovakia), Gallery of Peter Michal Bohun (Liptovský Mikuláš, Slovakia), Museum of Arts and Design Benešov (Benešov, Czech republic) and numerous private collections.
