Odair Rocha Monteiro is co-founder of the Gmurda collective, that has been developing an artistic practice around vídeo and performance since 2012. He attended the Dramatic Expression course at Chapitô (2013), a Masters in Artistic Photography at the Instituto de Produção cultural e Imagem, Porto (2020) and the Initiation to 16mm Film course promoted by the Rua Escura cultural cooperative, Porto (2022). He has participated in several group exhibitions, both nationally and internationally, and in the artistic residencies Som e Ruína (Portugal, 2014), Catchupa Factuary (Cabo-Verde, 2019) and From a Distance Calling (Portugal, 2021).
