Between Two Trees, There Are Many Worlds unfolds as a video essay that challenges anthropocentric perceptions of natural landscapes. Sheung Yiu employs diverse imaging techniques to capture the intricate sensory networks within two trees—one thriving, the other lifeless and infested—in Helsinki’s central forest. The project unveils communicative forms invisible to the human eye, prompting a reflection on our place within these intersecting worlds.
