Raw Material is a video installation that translates a research process developed in Mêda, exploring the intrinsic value of landscape in relation to the communities that intervene in it. Mining activity is examined as a metaphor—referencing past, present, and future—while also alluding to everything that remains beyond the reach of the distant gaze. The “invisible” is brought into focus through the intersection of popular and scientific knowledge, transformed into a poetic and cinematic record.
