The Weight of Lightness

Set in a space between the real and the sublime in a country still searching for itself after more than 30 years of reunification, this project questions notions of belonging through a survey of characters and landscapes that make up the daily life of a country in change. In a Germany caught between an unsolvable past and a present that evokes the darkest fears for the future, it proposes an exploration of what separates and unites us, the audacity of dreams and the anxiety of their failure.
