The Beautiful Images of What Has Vanished emphasises the urgency of presence, a sense of community and belonging with nature. Based on a collaborative laboratory in co-creation with the artist Paula Preto, a group of young people from the Nossa Senhora da Ajuda Parish Social Centre reclaim play, curiosity and imagination as collective forces for thinking about change and the transition to a sustainable future.
This work was developed during the year 2024 as part of Clima Emocional, a project for creation and education using photographic language with a focus on the ecology of feelings and emotions, which is part of the public mediation programme of the Bienal'25 Fotografia do Porto.
